Behind the Booth | Get to Know Us!

Behind the Booth

Get to know the people (and dog) behind Red Brick Photo Booth!

Hello, and welcome to our blog! We wanted to kick things off by going behind the booth and introducing ourselves. We are Emily and Steven Puente, the husband and wife team behind Red Brick Photo Booth. We have been wedding photographers since 2011, and in 2016, we launched Red Brick Photo Booth to serve Fresno and the surrounding areas. We see so many amazing events happening around Fresno that are classy, fun, and modern. We wanted to provide a photo booth that matched these high quality events. We’ve had such a fun journey so far, and we’re excited about the year ahead!

When we aren’t at an event, you can find us laughing with our sweet daughter, playing with our German Shepherd, listening to podcasts, solving puzzles, visiting our favorite local coffee shops, getting in a good workout, or exploring new places. We treasure Jesus, and we’re so thankful for the life He’s given us.

Behind the Booth

We launched Red Brick right around the time of this picture. Denver has no idea what’s happening!

Here’s our baby girl, Jackson when she was around 6 months old. She’s 15 months old now. What a sweet baby she was! (I guess she’s technically a toddler now!)parents pose with baby at a picnic

Our trip to Monterey last summer is one of my favorite family memories! Mom carries her baby at the beach in a baby bjorn

There are so many great events around Fresno. Here, we’re enjoying the food trucks at Gazebo Gardensmom and baby smile together in a garden nursery

Me and my baby girl at the park near our house. I love laughing with her. Can you believe the next three photos were taken with an iPhone?mom and baby laugh together at the park

We think she’s the cutest with that little pony tail. Fun fact: she’s wearing Steven’s childhood overalls in this picture! Steven’s mom kept them in good condition all these years!baby eats blueberries in her high chair

Jackson started walking at 13 months, and I absolutely love the walking stage!  Now, everywhere we go is an adventure for her.

In Front of the Booth

We always make sure we take a photo when we run an event together. Silly faces are a must. This was one of our first events ever!husband and wife make serious faces with fake glasses

Jackson has been in front of the booth even before she was born!pregnant woman poses in a photo booth

When we launched the booth, we started with a beautiful gold sequin backdrop, and a silver sequin backdrop. We’ve expanded our options since then, but they are still a wonderful, classic choice! couple makes silly faces in a Fresno photo booth

This event will always be a sweet memory for us. You see that bump? That’s Jackson at 2 weeks old, attending her very first photo booth event outside of the belly. 🙂 It was a very early set up for the Clovis Flea Market, around 6 am, but we had such a fun day. One of our attendants came and ran the booth, so we could walk around and enjoy the flea market!

Here, we’re at a Christmas party at Root General in downtown Fresno. This is still one of my favorite backdrops. couple make a silly pose in a Fresno photo booth

Time for another flea market! This time, Jackson is a little bit bigger. 🙂

Here’s Grace, one of our photo booth attendants, using the booth at her graduation party! She insisted that Jackson come to the party, too. 🙂baby smiles with her parents in a photo booth

We got to use the booth at our very own event: Jackson’s first birthday party! Jackson got to take photos with all of her friends and family that came to celebrate. I will treasure those photos forever. Especially this one, where Jackson is exhausted from the long and wonderful day. Haha!parents kiss baby at her first birthday party

Thanks for spending some time with us today as we introduce ourselves!

Keep an eye on the blog next week as we launch our blog series “Fresno Fridays!”

Have a great weekend!
